When you enter the cable car, make sure to request English as your language of choice as there is a track that narrates the tour. Once in the air, the track will tell you which side of the cable car to gaze out of, as well as history and facts about the famous monuments below.

The adventure begins near the Egyptian Templo de Debod, which will be the first main site as the ascent begins. Have your camera at the ready, as you’ll have a bird’s-eye view of many emblematic Madrid sites such as the Príncipe Pío train station, the Manzanares River, the Royal Palace, the Almudena Cathedral, and the Amusement Park. Nature-lovers can peer below at the treetops in Casa del Campo, where tree varieties include ash, chestnut, oak, and willow.
